Ok, been doing some research and it's all pretty much Greek to me... What is the best option out for the RZR right now.  The ECU replacement such as ProCom and Advantage RevMax or a programmer such as DynoJet PCIII?  My biggest hang up on the programmer versus the ECU replacement is that the programmer will not up the rev limiter.  Most of the ECU boxes I have found come with 8-9 maps for just about any air/fuel ratio you may encounter with mods such as pipe and clutching.  I know that with the programmer the air/fuel ratios can be more fine tuned to your setup, but once again, they do not remove the rev limiter correct?

Any help on this subject and what some of you are running and experiencing would be greatly appreciated.

why do you want to raise the rev limit????  the motor doesnt make any power past 6300 rpm's,  unless u do motor work, you are wasting money!!!

Who told you that? You can clutch around that! Look at my little bike, it seems to make power at 7000 rpm's!

i have had most of my trouble with the rev limiter on hard take-offs, bouncing off the rev limiter.. i would also like to see it gone for that reason, as long as it doesnt hurt anything.

Raising the rev limiter will help it especially off the line.  However it will be more effective with engine mods to get the powerband up.  As far as the ecu or the pc III, if you have minimal mods, like exhaust, clutch, air filter, you would be fine with a programmed ecu.  If you do more engine mods, like cam, head work, etc... it would be easier to use the pc III to fine tune the a/f ratio becasue its endless what you can do with it.  Dynojet also makes an ignition module for the rzr that raises the rev limiter 500 rpms and you can also tune your ignition map if you want.  It costs more for the pc III and the ignition module but it can be more easily tuned with the two.

So let's see a show of hands so to speak... Who thinks a ECU from HotSeat or ProCom is the route to go for me with minor mods such as clutching, pipe and K&N Apollo air filter setup?

With only those mods that would be your easiest and most cost effective.  With a pc III and the ignition module you are talking around $700 plus time on the dyno to get it tuned correctly.  So my hand is going to say get the ECU.
