I know this subject has prolly been covered on here before But,
My Check Engine Light comes on right after I start the engine. I start the engine and let it Idle for a few seconds and it comes on, When I put it in gear it goes out. Any suggestions on this?

I ran the diagnostics, and all it gave me was a 25 code"invalid gear"
What causes it to give that code for? Is it something I did wrong or just a common unimportant bug in the system? What do I need to do to reset it?

OK, I'm "cutting and pasting" here... there is more, but this should cover what you need.

25 Code is no big deal. It goes off at one point or another on all these machines. My dealer called it a dummy code. It is listed in the Polaris Dealer Service Manual as a transmission error code. It can get tripped if you shift too quickly or having the rpms up when you shift. It will clear on its own or you can disconnect your battery for a minute or so to reset. As long as it shifts correctly and goes into P.R.N.L.H. and they show up on the indicator you should be good, otherwise it may need a minor adjustment.

mine did the same thing i thought my transmission was messed up.. the gear wasn't all the way in park. it was in between park and reverse.. i hope this helps
