IS there a governer of some sort when you drive in reverse? Wants I give it so much gas it spudders really bad. When I was up at the Honda shop they werent sure so they just got on a brand new one and it did the same thing... anyone know whats up?

Yes their governed in reverse, I believe a programmer will over-ride it but not positive.

I know the dynatek black box for the 650's gets rid of the reverse limiter, and raises they rev limiter by 1000 rpms, but not sure if it does this for the EFI models

there is a reverse overide mod posted over on www.rinconriders.com  I need to do this mod soon.  it is not needed unless your need to back out of a hole.  the mod is easy and you can get to the wires easily also.  they are located right under the seat.

Bigben is right.  The FI Rincons have to do the reverse override mod.  There is no programmer for the 06 and up's to do away with the reverse limiter.  Check out the site he linked.  They know everything there is about a Rincon. 

BTW, I have the override mod on mine and love it.  You gotta be careful though, you can go through all 3 gears in reverse!
