I've read somewhere that they wont retro fit to another 700...

If that were your intentions...

This is what I am thinking... I highly doubt they will release the parts fiche for these for another few months.  And even then Bunk650 may be right... They may have given thought to the people wanting to skimp on the price of the mud pro and make it where it won't fit the others...

that would be real cool for all the snorkeled and piped guys with 700h1s running around..
unless its cheaper to just get a aftermarket tuner.

http://quad.transworld.net/2008/10/20/arctic-cat-mud-pro-video/

scroll down past the video where it says MudPro Features, then look at the second bullet, in parenthesis. I dont know if its true...just read it...

and I'm sure it will prob be cheaper to run an aftermarket tuner rather than buying the stock cdi from AC...

• Mud Pro specific EFI calibrations tuned for increased intake snorkel design to produce maximum horsepower (System does not retrofit other FIS Arctic Cats)

yeap they might have just " Fixed" it so it wont work..
