Does anyone know of a Recall on the Plastics on 06-07 Polaris 800 Sportsman models. Mine just went out of Warranty and my plastics melted a couple of weekends ago. This is stupid to have a problem with melted plastics ,no other maker of atvs has this problem with their machines.

My 05 did it but i put some heat shield tape on the side cover and it was fine. Try your dealer even though it may not have been a true recall polaris is aware of the issue.
