Just found out the bad news today about my motor in the H1.  Thought or hoped it was just the top end that got hurt but unfortunately it was the rod and pin at the crank.  I cannot find a separate listing on the net for these parts only the whole crank assembly for $660.00.  Plus the guy I got doin it for me still recommends a slight bore out and a size bigger piston.

So all together I need :  Head/Base Gasket
Crank Assembly/or hopefully connecting rod and lower pin
                                piston rings
                                side cover gaskets
                                recommended oversize piston

So my question is?  do any of you guys know where I can get these parts because I can't find listings for rotating assembly parts separate from each other?

Thanks!

Try catbargins on ebay...I have bought a lot of motor parts from them.  They are great to deal with and the "used" parts I have bought were like new.

Nothin on cat bargains.  I think what I have to do is put a new crank assembly in and put the 700 bbk top end in from speed werx.  Not gonna be cheap but she will run better than she is right now.

I heated the s!@t out of it.  Kept stopping to let her cool down, about five times, then the last time I just didn't stop.  Call it a combination of beer brain, stupididty, and running late.
