Hey Kids, just wonderin if many have tried the Mudwiser tires from Pirelli,i don,t do Deep mud runnin or bogs, just trail riding with any mudholes i encounter.the tires are very impressive in real life.Went to the honda dealer last nite,he had about 15 bikes there with new ones installed, said it was there new Fav tire.6 Ply Rugged tread. And for anyone living in Canada, preferably New Brunswick, should pm me for info on an unbelievably low price of $55/Tire Can.Thats right,i'm buying a set tomorrow for $220 complete. How could ya beat it.

they are a knockoff of a mudlite so they should be good on the trails but not very spiffy in the bad mud.

i wonder if they are harder rubber than the mudlites so they'll wear better.
but i hear the wear is fixing to change with the mud lites, with the use of the 589 type rubber.

well the hard compound is what i'm affraid of actually. The Honda Rincons i seen them on as well as 4 or 5 new 750 Brutes was so freakin hard.I had Mudbugs on my last 700 and didn,t like them at all.Heavy tires and forget it on pavement, was just like turning a Dozer and 10Mph and under would shake the crap outa ya.Way too aggressive for trail riding.Hope i don,t regret not goin for something like the Bighorns, dealer said Bighorns were his #2 seller of all his models, can,t keep them in stock.#1 was the Mudlites XTR,and #3 was the Pirelli Mudwisers.Must be confident in them, he has over 400 Mudwisers in stock as of yesterday.Gee's that's alot of rubber.

yeah, picture don,t do them justice, i agree, Girly, lol, i like that, heh.Looked like a full 1 inch tread to me last nite while looking at them, but remember i'm looking for an all-terrain sneak, not a pure mud tire, so hopefully there not as aggresive as the MudBugs, hated them, too dang Rough..If i get there and chicken out for being too aggressive, i'll prob drag home a set of Bighorns, less these dealers have another suggestion.Over 2000 tires in stock, i'm sure they'll fix me up with something better then stock..

SouthernMudder  I thought the Pxt's were a really decent looking tire for a stock polaris tire, but i bought this 800 used from dealer and all 4 tires had at least 2 plugs/tire in them and one front had a big vulcanized patch on side of it that made it extremely out of balance for higher speeds,so in short, they were all scabs and unsafe, and i figured if they had that many plugs ect, best get some 6 ply for durability. The Bounty Hunters i bought would have been a decent choice tire but i dunno what i was thinkin with those 14 inch rims,so that set went back to dealer for sale and i'll just mount new set on stock rims.14Inch cut power down enough it wouldn,t wheelie anymore, felt like an old workhorse, heh.

OK, well, went for a 2 hour drive, took my rims with me,dealer said i'll love the Mudwisers, just put a set on a sportsman 500 yessterday, same set i was looking at.26x12x12 and 26x10x12, i asked him 3 times are you sure these will fit, cuz i really wanna stick with 8's on the front, ohh ya,no probs at all.LIAR,LIAR, Pants on Fire" lol
TH stinkin things will go on, but are rubbing big time on the struts and tie-rod ends.So there it sits in my buds shop, now i'm in a panic for some kinda spacers i guess. Can,t win for loosing, shoulda left the crappy PXT's with there 5 plugs and vulcanized patch on the bike, lol.OH well, he was right on the Price at least, $55/tire Plus Tax,installed.Still a great deal.Tread is a full 1 inch plus on the 26" and about 5/8 " on the 25's, which do come in 8" for front, shoulda went with them maybe and lost some clearance..
Spacers anyone? or where to buy?

Yupp, correct you are, went to my local polaris shop, what did they hand me? a set of Highlifter 1" spacers.Nice lookin peice, only one complaint to HIGHLIFTER i tried 4 diff sets of sockets to get in the hole to tighten the lugs.ended up grinding the outside wall down on the socket so i could get it off after tightening, another millimeter bigger hole would be very usefull,i couldn,t find a real cheap socket or mighta been alright, other then that there fine.

just google them, there all over the place, any aftermarket atv shop has them listed.Let me say though the 25Inch are kinda pathetic looking with there 1/2" lugs, step up to the 26" for a full 1" lug,no comparrison

I got mine today at G. Bourque's in Moncton.  about 300$ for a set of 26.10.12 for the front and 26.12.12 for the back.  They'll fit nicely on my 04 Vinson and can't wait to get them muddy.  With the rain comming in tonight and tomorrow... no doubt this weekend's gonna be fun around Shediac NB.  I almost took the MudLites instead but the MudWiser's had the 6 ply sides.   I figured I'd give 'em a try just for that.  I just hope the ride's not too rough.  hmmmmm
I'll post more by the weekend....once i get'em dirty.

I was a bit dissapointed in them personally as far as pulling it out of the shop and driving across the pavement onto my pick-up, they felt as rough as the Mudbugs i had.The guy at G-Bourques said they were no where near as rough(he lied) then again he also said the 10" front would fit my sportsman 800 without spacers(lie #2) $100 later for a set of HL 1" Spacers, only thing that was the truth was awsome deal at $55 ea for 26 x 12 x 12, and 26 x 10 x 12   6 ply tires,$220/set of 4 is unbeatable anywheres, and they didn,t charge me for instalation/Balance.Hopefully i too will get out this weekend to try them on some terrain and see if there worth a crap or not"

funny don,t see any real constructive information in that there thread on Mudwisers, heh. Anyways i've put them on since posting this and i love em.Dealer even said they were better then the crappy Mudlites ,and he sells both so i'ma gonna take his word on that.Done 100 miles of Mud and Rock climbing with the wisers today and Yesterday.I think there an awsome tire for $55 Bucks, although i lost a bit of upper end speed,i'll live with it.
Pirelli Mudwisers gets  Two thumbs up from Me!
