I went through this today because i had the day off and wanted to build my Autio tube. i called every one in town with no luck, so i called the pyramids customer service to find the nearest dealer. They said it was in Oklhoma, no one in Louisiana sold them...Also i talked to one of the tech that informed me that they have discontenued the bp440.. Best to get it off ebay...This is the one i bought!!!

I used the auto zone amp. It plays louder than I want to listen to it. You need 90 degree adapters for the RCAs though.

With the side plugs on the autozone amp it will short the regular RCAs out over a period of a couple months. My buddies did it with that amp and after putting the 90s on it it has been the same for over a year. No matter how you mount the autozone amp it will put the RCAs in a bind. The 90s are a couple dollars and it will save you from inevitably having to tear everthing apart at one point or another.

I built audiopipe for my brothers bike and I used a Pyramid in it. Holding up real well so far sounds the same as it did about 9-10 months ago. Plenty loud too! The good thing about it is all the connections are on the end which makes it fit real nice.

i really like that the connections go one the end.

meatman...i saw one on ebay and man that one is nice. it has the deck in an audiotube. thats what i was thinking about doing. looks like you cut the hole to fit and make/buy one like the ones for boats.(sengle deck holders) and fiberglass to seal it up. something like that if i could do it thats what id have but im not paying 500 bucks for someone elses. but its hardcore man they got it with a truck parked on it and washing it with a hose and all that its nice.
