Status: offline 		Where is everyone getting their lifts for their 800 sportsman ? I was talking with AL from Triangle ATV and he told me they just use 3 inch lift pucks in the front and EPI 1 inch lift springs in the rear with the spring setting adjusted alll the way out......Any help on this would be appreciated ??????

Status: offline 		ya i would just run springs in the rear, i juss took my 2" bracket lift off the back and i like it alot better, no more breakin rear axles everytime i ride but i only have a 2" in the front with HL springs, it looks alot better with a 3" but you break alot more, also i juss switched to 27" s-backs so hopefully i wont break as much

Status: offline 		Well I just called triangle atv earlier today and they have a 3 inch puck lift for the front and 2.5 puck lift for the rear cost is 160.....They said you can run stock axles with the lift and 29.5 laws just dont go smashing the gas in a bog when the wheels are turned

Status: offline 		i wouldnt go that big a lift without axles, they break easily with juss a 2" on the front, but if you dont ride trails i would go with a 3" on the front with grilas, i used to have a 3.5" but i took it off cuz its not good for the trails you can tell a big difference between a 2" and 3"

Status: offline 		Well no I really do not ride trails much just mud and water so that is why I was going to do a three in front and 2.5 in the rear.....I am going to run with the stock axels as long as I can I mean the bike is practically brand new still only has 50 miles

Status: offline 		I think I already figured out what I am going to do now......I am going to go with the 3 inch pucks in the front and just EPI lift springs in the rear to take the stock sag out of it......I was told that it will be evened out even though it does not sound like it

Just remember you get what you pay for. I say go with the RD lift. If nothing else jump on the site and ask members of the forum.

Status: offline 		Check on the touring edition springs for the rear. They are a little stiffer and will stand it up a little taller.
The 2 foreward A-arms will allow a taller tire with no scrubs for around $150 bucks.

Status: offline 		No the EPI springs are said to be the stiffest....adding about 100 extra lbs of shock to each spring.....they will eiminate all the sag that the stock system is known for having.....and I will have no problem running 29.5's as is with a 3 inch lift in the front

This is a 2008 800 touring edition with a 2 inch extreme lift. The tires are 31 o/ls with only a little rub at full lock.

Yes....I believe you have the option......rear pucks or EPI springs, I would have to double check with Sue to be sure~ but i am almost positive it is.

Status: offline 		Trianlges price is 90 for the 3 inch front pucks and the EPI springs on EPI's website are 39.99 a piece for the black ones......By the way SFD that is a mean looking bike I cannot wait to get mine done up it should be within a week

Status: offline 		Thanks....I don't know why the pics of the black bike blurred, there not like that other than on this particular thread., (just figured it out, there were automatically resized in the place i have them stored in).....I will post them again in the morning when i get home so you can get a better look at the black one!

We are building almost 2 identical bikes...both are black.

and that red 800 of Bruteman750............Thats a killer looking bike he has there!
Props go out to him & the Triangle Crew for building such a great looking bike~

Status: offline 		Yea I am taking mine to Triangle as well for the speaker box, other than that I can do the rear rack plat the back rest seat and the cooler myself.....His sound system is bad to the bone man.....it has eight 8 inch memphis speakers and a 1,000 watt amp
