Man I'd recommend geting the VDI. It'll only run you bout $200 more than the PC3, & comes with alot more benefits! Corrects the retarded timing, which in turn causes it to run cooler, & gives it a waaaaaaay better lowend! Add this to the other mods in my sig & you've got a helluva fast, powerful single cylinder bike capable of running with/outrunning an 800 Can-Am in 300 ft!  
As far as a pipe goes, the Pro Circuit is supposed to give the best gains, with Yoshi in a close 2nd, & HMF utility in 3rd! Now this is via dyno on the same bike, same same dyno, on the same day! I just got my Yoshi installed & it's Awesome, to say the least!  Good luck, I hope this helps with your decision & holler if you need anything else! Brandon
