Went ridin with some friends the other day and was a decent whole and had to work my vinny to get through some ruts and it happened. 28" laws bit and left rear axle SHATTERED!!! Got back to the house and broke it down found the axle in 3 peices and then it got WORSE!!!! Cracked the rear housing as well. Need some gorrilla equivilents for the rear axles as well apparently.

I don't believe they make them. I have broke both of my rears and seen an eiger break both of its rears. It was just like you said it will just shatter.

Sad part was it really wasn't that bad of a hole. I was just havin to rock it some cause i was in some ruts. blew my mind. Good news is that the axle was only like 75 bucks and like 85 for the housing. I was expectin WAY more than that for the housing.

Thats scary to hear; I just put some 28" laws a while back, ridden one ride with them, totally loved them, but now your scaring me

VINN did it break bad enough tht u had to geet pulld back or could you still drive it? Im asking cause i broke somthing in my rear diff or tht area yesterday because when ever u get into anything tht makes the rear spin all it does it pop real bad an its like its slippin. in 4wd in mud the bak tires wont hardly turn and jus the fronts are pullin.

if this is similar to your problem any help would appreciated.

I could drive mine back. But mine was apparently way different then yours. Only my left tire wouldn't spin. everything else worked fine. sounds like yours maybe inside your gears in the rear end.

ya i wuz ridin it at a friends house when it did it. and when i went to put it in the truck i pulled it up on the ramp and the back jus poppd an slipped, wouldnt even push. so dont kno wut the deal is wit tht.
