I finally got the chance to give my MST's a good test run yesterday.  I have 26's since I primarily ride trails in hilly rocky terrain.  First off they handled much better than my old 589's.  Wherever you point the handlebars, the tires are going to go. There was no slipping at all.

They were great on the rocks.  I ride very very rocky terrain and they excelled there because they put a lot of rubber to the road.  They just climbed like the rocks weren't even there.

The sidewalls took a beating on the rocks and I have no pinch marks at all.

The place I was most impressed was climbing muddy rutted hills. The side lugs made it so much easier than with my old 589's.  I could really tell they made a huge difference.

I got into a few mud holes as well. They were great in the mud.  They had plenty of grip to get through some pretty nasty stuff. The only thing that stopped me was ground clearance. I bottomed out trying to climb out of one hole and could never make it out. If I had 28's I would have climbed right out.

Overall, I am thoroughly in love with these tires.

If anyone has ever been up to Windrock aka Coal Creek in east Tennessee and run trail 12, this was the trail that really tested these tires.  They passed with flying colors.  A lot of people run Bighorns up there and I cannot imagine Bighorns doing any better on the trails than the MST's did.  I know Bighorns would not mud as well.

I highly recommend Outlaw MST's to anyone who does much trail riding.

I have run 26" MST's on my Vinson and also my Teryx and I really like them. Going to get a set of 27" for the Teryx as soon as I can find someone to offload my new Bighorns to, which I am not enjoying after coming from 26" MST on the Teryx.

I am from Western NC, near the TN line and we ride Buffalo Mountain, Rose Hill, Gum Hill, want to get to Coal Creek sometime. Any UTV guys on here that ride coal creek? We ride Bufalo Mountain Trail #29 tomorrow. One UTV, 5 ATV's and a Dirt Bike or two.
