I just wanted to address this issue with everyone.  I always hear people talking about how rough the ride is with outlaws and how they will buck you off when you travel slow and such.

Well, now that I actually own a set, I'm calling BS!  When comparing my 27" laws to my 27" Mud lite's, you really can't tell a difference, besides power loss.lol.

Anyway, the ride perfectly fine out on the rode and the trail.  At slow speeds, there is the slight tire wobble, but no more so than I got with my Mud lites.
Ignore the talk of rough rides and get a set of laws!

Thank you. Some people act as if this tire keeps a dentist busy after each ride........lol. I've always said they were bumpy under 8 mph but not near as bad as reported. If an old guy like me doesn't mind the ride, I would think almost anyone would not mind.

I never had a problem w/ how my 29.5's rode... Not putting 20lbs of air in them has alot to do w/ it.. some poeple over inflate there tires to try and get as much GC as they can... in turn loosing a lot of ride quality.

I thought my 27's, 28x9.5's, and 29.5's were fairly smooth. I have no complaints about a rough ride. They're not Vampire smooth, but they're not gonna beat you to death. Now, the 26's, 28x10.5's and 28x12.5's are a different story. They are noticably rougher especially at speeds below 10 mph. They have a more rounded profile which likely contributes to the poor ride. But, if i'm wanting to purchase a tire specifically for mud, ride quality is not gonna be a factor. If I wanted a tire that would pull with the best of them in the mud without sacrificing a smooth ride at low speeds or on the trail, I would go with a TSL Vampire/EDL combo. But, like I said, I don't think the first 3 Outlaw sizes I mentioned are rough at all for an aggressive mud-specific tire. In fact, they are smoother than Mudzilla's at low speed IMHO.

I won't own another tire other than the laws. I do everthing with my 29.5s. I refrain from riding on any streets due to the fact I'm not rich and can't be wasting that rubber. I ride around 6-8mph on the trails two up with no prblems with the ride qualitiy.

I know, but what I'm "trying" to get across is that even though these are mud tires..... they still ride amazingly well.  I'm trying to break the stereotype on these laws.

Yeah, I guess that IRS would help us out.  lol.  No problem on the trade, it was a drive, but it was worth it.

rocks and mud tires don't usually get along.  I think MST"s would be a better bet for that type of terrain.

I went from 27" Bi/Tri Claw Magnums to my 29.5" Laws and I totally agree with you.  The are NOT a bad bumpy ride at all, even on hardpack.
There's been times I've had to travel on some asphalt (which I hate doing), but even then it's not a rough ride and I really don't go over 30mph or so.

You cant blame the axle on the tires, bearings maybe.....when my bearings completely went out - this happened

Its not so much the tires but the mud and water its rode in that takes out bearings.

I for one love my 29.5 LAWS and wont ever get rid of them. they ride pretty good the tread wear is great and i go about anywhere i want to with them on they bite very hard in mud. Its a Great tire for mudding

Now we need a 30" M/S/T for a 12" rim  i like my Mudlites just fine but i bet 30" M/S/Ts would be better...

By BUSHHOGs last post sounds like a 14" version might be coming..?
