What are the recommended service intervals for the 2008 outlander 800 xt?  What should be done at each service?  Is BRP doing any kind of recall or defect work for that model?  I would like to have the front springs replaced due to sagging and the winch solenoid replaced (sticking) under warranty.  I thought I remember something about the digital display and trans covers getting covered under warranty.  Am I going to have to listen to a much of crap about my bike having snorkels, exhaust, and different tires than stock?  I suspect my dealer will try void my warranty because of these mods, but it sucked otherwise.  Anyone know any good shops or dealers in Virginia that will work with me?

Thanks

the service intevals are all in the manual towards the rear of the manual. 10 hour service is the most important thing for the dealer to do as this is what registers the bike at brp. they look at it like ok he had his 10 hour service done by a brp dealer so he is taking care of the bike as needed. ive heard that the 10 hour service can make or break a warranty claim. but snorkels and tires and all that should not affect warranty unless they are the main reason for a break. like if you take it in  cause your display quit working or a sensor quit they shouldnt say well the tires caused this to break so its not covered. but warranties are only as good as the dealer lets them be. if your dealer is cool then snorkels and tires should not be a problem.
