Went to the river as seen in the other post and my airbox leaked a little and Im tired of it. I took a Big Bear deep and I wanted to with mine so I took my airbox off today and redid everything. The Snorkle is now PVC, an sealed up everything again with the Plastic Dip stuff that when it dries is has hard as Plastic and good good seal. Heres the pics and ready to go deep.

Looks good Solitude.  I think that's how I am going to do my airbox as well.

I use a Tray Divider. Works perfectly and enough room the cover the hole and screw it in with rubber washers.

The plastic dip should be in the spray can section cause there is a spray version of it also. I love this stuff, I felt it today and its as hard as the plastic. Its made to dip hammer handles and pliers and stuff like that into so you can get a better handle. I love it tho I use it one everything.

With the airbox lid I used Silicone. I can peel the silicone off before prying it off.

Ive always had my airbox hard piped.  I dont use silicone on the lid, I just use a piece of rubber that allows the lid to seal alot better than just the twin air lid seal.
Only bad part of hard piping it is if you need to get your airbox off.  You almost have to take the front plastics off.

With mine I just have to undo the top cover, and the front of the floor board and bend that back and lift up the plastic and pull and lift the airbox and it comes out.

Ahhh...ur gonna wish you used a 2" to 2" rubber adapter on this beast, but mines alil diff. cause my snorkels are permanent on my plastics.....  I believe I got the sides of the filter sealed with rtv, but when I try to drown the bike with my hand over the snorkel, it starts pullin air from the wing nut on top????  did you just glob some under the nut too?  I might try to redo this tonight after work with some of this silicone. Thx

Yes use silicone and plenty of it. Dont go cheap on the airbox.
