Hey guys. I am currently running 26" terracross tires on 14inch ITP wheels. I decided i want to go with a more aggressive mud tire. Anyways in order to keep my 14" wheels id have to get a 30" tire or larger. Im worried about breakin axles and stuff though with that big of a tire. Would u guys suggest trying to trade my setup for maybe a 28" tire/12" wheel setup, Or can i handle the 30"s without worrying about breaking crap all the time. Also input on tires is appreciated, I seen outlaws in action today, preety sick tire.

we run from 28s to 31 laws if u use thumb control u should be fine with the big ones

Probably a Hauck kit. Mine will be an 800 when the top-end finally goes. Until then I'll fog for mosquitos with it.

As far as tire size goes, the only thing governing if you break axles or not is your right thumb.

you could go with a 30 inch mud lite
alot of guys bash em on here but i have a set, and really enjoy them, bikes this big dig pretty good with em, not as aggressive as the outlaws, and smoother on the trails, and even when you romp on em they are not as destructive on the axles and diffs
I love my outlaws, but I ride hard and break stuff because of it, but I can go through holes in 2 wd that would take 4 wd on lites

hey rush check the 29.5 swaplites out...not sure if u can get them in 14s but there a good all around. Know a guy that has them on his 700 and pretty impressive...there not sb's or outlaws but there smooth riding and good in mud. Look over in the for sale there was a guy that had a set for sale

28" Zillas, 27" and 28" Swamplites, and 30" MudZillas all come in a 14" and they're all good mud tires. The zillas are a good A/T with more of a mud tread. If you go with larger more aggressive tires, you ARE going to break something, it's just a matter of time. I've seen several sets of the 30" mudlites in action, they're an OK tire but the ones I listed are better in the mud from what I've seen.

Ive got a set of 27" mudlite xtr's and they are good all around and fit 14s. but i also got a set of 29.5 outlaws and the 700 can handle them. By the way where you from in carrollton?

wish i was closer to ya, got some 30" mudlites on 12" sra black type-7 rims, i might trade ya, tires are in great condition, rims are fine. there on my 07 grizzly 700, just want to get a tire, for fast trail riding. but i'm in mass. so shipping would be costly.

i duno, im debating whether or not to save some cash and invest in some 30" mudzillas, 31" outlaws or 30" sbacks that fit my 14" wheels or sell my wheels and go with 12" wheel and around a 28" inch tire. I am just worried about breaking stuff with that 30"+ tire, i hate breaking stuff. what do you guys think,

i have had 30 on mine since day one. so far...... 2 axels, rear diff cases, tranmision gears and case

yea i think i just may do 29.5s. im talkin to a guy in North carolina who wants to trade even his 29.5s/wheels with my tires/wheels. Gona make up my mind this weekend, i can probly scrape up enough to buy a new set of 29.5s on 12s if i try

you want a great muddin tire, get those laws, you want a great combo tire, that's easy on axles, get 30" mudlites, i got a 2" lift on mine with no problems, but i've also learned from past mistakes.not to be an animal, with the big tires. you'll need a 2" lift to clear the 30"s mine rubbed bad, before the lift. the guy with the laws sounds like a good deal, if that's what you want.

nice cw, we need to hit up a mudhole sometime.. All the other Gapower guys are goin wednesday morning i think, but i gota work. But im gona see who i can get together to go thursday morning. im goin out of town friday so unless i go thursday i wont have chance to test these things out till next week, i dont think i can wait that long
