Put the 3.6 gears in the 700H1 this past week.  Got it back together and with the locker unlocked and in 2WD it is still 4WD and Diff Locked.  Engie tried to fixed it but no luck.  Road it anyways and now it is in 4WD only, but is still showing 4WD LOCKED on the screen.  Need to know how to solve this problem.  The 2/4 WD switch is in 2WD and the diff lock is unlocked, but the bike is still in 4WD and want lock now.  Anybody have a clue????

Only thing I could think of is the actuator might not be working.  Take it off and check the pin.  For 2WD, it has to be pushed in the differential.  Any time you take the actuator off, it automatically goes to 4WD because there is nothing holding the pin in.

When you say pin spring... What spring are you talking about?  You have the pin that comes out of the back of diff and slides into the hole on the actuator, I did not see a spring on the pin or inside that actuator hole?

There is a spring on the inside of the nose conethat rides on the pin.

On the diff, just above your diff lock cable there is a wire thet plugs into the diff. Unhook that wire and see what happens. If it fixes it then something isn't right with that ground pin inside.

Yup, make sure that spring is there on the pin that the actuator presses on. Also like Bustedknuckes stated, remove the one wire that is connected to the diff. If the that ground switch ( on the diff) is bad then the wire that goes to that switch, goes to ground via a bad switch than the actuator will not work, or may be stuck in 4 wheel drive. Also your diff light on the pod will be stuck on.
That one wire does not need to be connected, it just turns on the lock lite on the pod on.

Forgot to mention that the locker gear was in fact off a tooth at first, which kept the locker from freeing itself as it should.  That was fixed though and it is still doing it.  I will try the plug tonight and then pull the actuator to see if there is a spring.

the locker gear cant be off a tooth.. its the same all the way around..

one thing everyone said, is the little spring in the knose cone inplace, this push the pin and collar apart to kick it out of 4wd and with out the spring it wont work well.

Well, took the ground cable off right above the locker and what do you know... It's working great now.  Still need to reconnect the locker cable and adjust it.  Can anybody give me some details on how to do that?  And GWC, when do I get to join H.P.A.C.?????

When you put it in your sig.

its really easy to adjust, there is a lock nut right down by the wire you unplugged, you can losen it then adjust the cable to be tighter or looser from there.

yeah...the collar for the diff lock was initially binded up.  It wouldn't go in or out.  I think it really was off a tooth.  What I mean is, is that the diff lock shifterfork wasn't sitting completely flush against the collar, causing it to bind.  We pulled the axle and attempted to engage/disengage it manually by hand.  After being unsuccessful in getting it to move at all, we decided to pull the diff sidecover and reposition it.  It worked freely the second try...

Yeah, I knew it was going to have something to do with that wire...

I think we are gonna have to change this HPAC thing. It was started in crosby so maybe we should do an initiation ride before you can really claim to be HPAC......lol......
