Well i want both worlds mud & trail now this thing is going to hall. Theres this hill i can not make if my life depended on it now that i cut out a new pattern i want to see if i can make it. im going out in half hour to try them out. They have a HUG GAP inbetween all the lugs. This thing should do really good.

a knife

here a video before i cut out the lugs, first quad that went threw has 29.5 outlaws and second was me with 28" mst

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDc16getogw

Now heres the video of me going threw with the mst cut out. The only problem was it has rained alot since last video & alot of people have chewed it up bad as its slipper then shi t and rutted really bad from the 29.5 outlaws. Well here the MST"S at work

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVSp0Hbm38g

here's the other video ..... with the mst cut out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJO1Fw8LpPQ

I think it worked alot better than before as now it was throwing chunks of mud instead of just water

Not bad. Looks like they mightnot be quite as smooth of ride, more likely to have a low step between the contact patches.

On slippery conditions i swear in two wheel drive it lauches way harder as it has more bite now. as far as riding goes i dont notices any diffrents in the smoothness as it rides just the same

Looks great these tires should come like that, especially if there is no change in ride or handling! Plus they're a little lighter like that too!!

just the back two tires, the front is to narrow to even worry about the little extra width in tread i get. I found it worked a little better as it was throwing larger chunks of mud and that is wat i was aiming for

When I get home from this deployment I am definately gonna try this out on my 26"ers. I think I will cut the fronts too, cuz they are where most of my trouble in the mud comes from. They tend not to clean out as well as the rears, and with my hot iron I may try to round the tips off more like the reg outlaws, but **** it will be another 6 months before I can even attempt to do this. Lips, did you ever get back out to the sand hill? If so how did they do there? anymore ride updates on them?

LMFAO are you serious i wouldnt be caught de a d with this entry level tire. Id rather own one of those quads thats green all show & know go A/C before i purchased mudlights just to let you know how much i love this tire. Mudlights are so weak in performance and strength that they acually make a stock tire look good.
By the way that pic you sent me of your quad or should i say suv looks really good with that spare 30" mudlight in the back. id love for you to come trail riding with me, if you ever deside to come give me advance notice that way i could call a sweeper to clean up the trail so you dont have to worry about poping a tire or tearing it on those beautiful mudlights. I wouldnt want to see that suv get that beautiful spare tire dirty lol As far as not making it up, dont worry about me i have no problems making it up but that one time. It's not my fault the mst's lacks in performance in sand big time. Tell ya what let me barrow your 30 mudlights bet i'll make it alot higher up that sand hill then those halarious mst's. Then when im done i'll do the biggest burn out so you have no choice but to purchase a real tire You already have a entry level quad at least change it up no need to get entry level tires aswell

lol pics look good but show everyone the set up you made for the 30" spare mudlight tire, i think it looks CUTE lol Well looks like your not all show & no go after all, im impressed looks like you might be able to keep up with us after all. As far as what you said about the only view i would see is the rear of your quad would be correct. Id have to stay behind to baby sit those entry level tires, make sure they stay on that rim besides once you get your front end in a hole id already be lined up to pull you back out Your lucky i like ya & wont charge ya for a baby siting fee & tow charge A/C to me is like a BIG BONED WOMMEN there ok to ride but you just wouldn't want to get caught on top of one.

BURNED LOL

I had to do a double take on that second picture. For a second there I thought you had a chicken riding on your back rack. Then I realized it was only a strap holder.

Lips- I love your idea (at least the ballsyness of it) . You certainly aren't scared to try stuff.
