WELL FIRST OFF LET ME ASK WHAT SIZE TIRES YOU WILL BE RUNNING?.. IF YOUR PUTTIN BIG TIRES ON IT YOU WILL WANNA STAY AWAY FROM POPPIN THE CLUTCH BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE U-JOINTS BREAKING AND THE FIRST GEAR BREAKING TEETH...

OTHER THAN THAT KEEP THE OIL CHANGED ON TIME AND DONT THINK ABOUT IT... ITS A HONDA IT WILL LAST!

with 26 inch tires you should have very few issues. That is where honda shines. trails and back woods. Like said earlier keep the service up and you will probably not have to buy another bike ever.

i would go with mst's over the big horns, they are a lighter tirer better on the trails, and have some side lugs to dig up out of the ruts.

i have an 08 manual shift.  i stay away from the es.  the only issue i've had so far is blowin up cv joints.  lost two so far.  with my other foremans i used to just ease the front brake when i would get stuck and it would kind of act like lockers, it will lock in the front wheel that isnt spinning.  but when i do this on my new one it blows apart cv joints.  it also seems to drown out in water easier than my old foremans did.  probably because is doesnt seem to float as well or do water wheelies half as easy.  other than that it is great.  i love the power steering too.
