Well think about the price and think about what your getting.   Gears, Clutch, programmer, snorkel, and acutal 28inch mud tires.  Price all those parts on top of any other 4wheeler in its class and see what kind of price you get.  Oh yeah and the warranty with it too from the factory.    I think its a heck of a deal.

For the person that does not want to take the time to do all the "mods" to a stock bike this quad will be perfect for them, Like was said its Fully snorkeled, computor has been remapped for the snorkel and to give more power,  has 4.0 gears, has been clutched for the taller tires and has 28" MST tires on it from the factory which gives it just over 14" of GC stock.
Also it has custom painted plastic Metallic Lime Green, and Nice alumumin wheels.
The quad is set up to go straight from the factory and for alot of people this will be a great thing, also you will spend about the same money to build allmost the same quad and this one the dealer cant say your warrenty is void because of the big tires and snorkels..
It wont be for everyone but i think its a BIG step forward in atvs, and that the atv companys are starting to liston to what we want.

i cant wait to see just what they are gonna do with the warranty issues. my buddy has a new actic cat and it blew up after 300 miles and they would not help him out at all. he had to pay full price for all the parts and labor. may of just been a bad dealer but i dont know.

Why did the motor blow up? I have had 6 cats and none of them had a motor blow because of a/c.

Arctic Cat has a pretty good warrenty like the other atvs but its the dealers that will make or break them. My 500 broke the bevel gear and my dealer did not want to fix it, matter of fact told me he was sure it was my fault for jumping it or something, well i took it to another dealer and They put in a whole new motor and never once gave me any crap they where real nice to me.
One reason to make sure the dealer you buy from has a good rep and not a bad one.

Like stated above, it sure is a neat machine for those who just wanna pay and go play.  But for me, I would rather put the time and money into making it the way I want it.

True.  The aftermarket companies strive off people wanting to be "different" than everyone else.  Although it is a neat bike, I don't see it catching on.  i've been wrong before though.

Why did the motor blow up? I have had 6 cats and none of them had a motor blow because of a/c.

i really think it had a factory defect. the thing is he bought it at gander mountain and they cant make any calls on warranty claims. they had to take it apart and send the parts into arctic cat to have them examined. actic cat then told them they would not warranty it due to riding in extreme conditions. but even the guys at gander mountain that took it apart said it had no signs of neglect.  i know several people that have had actic cats and never had this problem, not trying to say they arent a good bike just saying that i think they should have fixed his bike. i know my dealer would have fixed mine no questions asked. to be honest he is the only one i know with an actic cat that has ever had to have anything warrantied and they wouldnt do anything about it and it just made me feel like they didnt want to help anyone out. maybe he just had some bad luck i dont know. have the rest of yall had good service from actic cat?

I believe this is a awsome bike. Worth the money for sure. If I had the money rite now, there would be one in my garage. This bike also comes with a front bumber. I would like to see all the manufacturers to come out with a MudPro type bike even Honda

its a bold move. I have 2 cats, my ol 500 still runs great(just need a new rear gearbox) and i drown it prolly 10 times. solid machine, great company to deal with so far, and i think the mud pro Will sell. So many times out at atv parks guys will ask how much to snorkel, lift, pipe ect..... they will buy it to skip the work

i just looked on their sight and the suggested price is only 9500 so most will be able to get it for around 8. i dont think that is a bad price at all for what you are getting. i mean i gave 8300 for my grizz when the 700s first came out, of coarse i traded in my old bike so i had to pay top dollar. but anyway i dont think that is a bad price and i think they will sell like hot cakes. i cant wait to see one in action, i just dont see how they are gonna warranty alll these things, you know people are gonna tear alot of them up.

if the warranty thing doesnt cause a big stink then yes i say others will follow. just like they are doing with the power steering.

after selling my tcat i decided to buy one of these mud pro 700s.
after all i think by the time you bought all whats listed on this machine it would cost more to build one.
between the snorks,4/1 gears, clutched, remapped ecm vs programmer, 3000lb winch, front and rear bumpers, stronger axles(according to cat there tcat axles), and the last 2 things tires and wheels.
im thinking between my works shocks (1in longer) and a 1in body lift with real laws 29.5s the machine should be ready to go along with filling every electrical plug with die elec grease.
the prices i have got from dealers range from full list 9529.95 + tax to 8800.00 otd.
it should be here the begining of october and hope there is no delays like the tcats did.

i got a friend that when to an AC dealer and asked about the snorkles and since they were intalled at the factory if the motor was under warrenty? the dealer said no  I dont imagine they would warrenty it, if they did right before your warrenty period is up all you would have to do is hydo-lock the eng. and bend a rod or a valve, then take it back to the dealer for a new eng.        could get expensive for the dealer.

Arctic Cat is going to warrenty this quad just like the others, If in fact it has had water in the motor then you will be SOL any dealer that is saying that is just being hard to deal with. AC put heavy duty axles in it and re clutched it and its fully snorkeled. but its no different then another atv if signs of abuse are present good luck but just the noraml issuses its covered like any other.

The snorkles are there to keep water out of the engine. If you bring it in and there water in the engine well that means you dunked it. Why should they warranty something that you destroyed. Just because it has snorkles doesnt mean that you get a by on dunking it lol. They will be warrantied just like any other a/c.
