I Just wonted to show all of yall my truck. Its a 78 ford it has an custom 11" lift, 42" tires, and 4wheel disk brakes

. I have done every thing on this truck myself.

Bad*** truck man, Ive got a 79 with a 6" lift and some crappy 33's. Its a work in progress. haha. What gears are you running in the diffs?

'04 foreman 450es: 26" swamplites on interco rims, drop basket rack.
'03 foreman 450es: no engine currently...stuff to come:550 stroker kit, gear reduction, 28x12 laws, welded front diff, custom 4-6" lift, and axle paddles.

'98 gmc z71: no longer my DD. 33x12.5 SSR's, 3" susp. lift, strait pipe with turndowns, K&N intake, 4 KC's on bumper, and some other junk. Soon to be sitting on 37x13 boggers,6" lift, and 4.88 gears

nice truck me and my buddy got a 76 also with a 7" skyjacker under it we got it down to the frame right now plans are a nasty 390 or 429(if we can get our hands on one) more lift 2 1/2 tons hydrolic steering and some other goodies just a mud toy is what we want

Do you still have a 9" out back? If so, what did you use to convert to disk brakes? I've wanted to go to disks out back forever on my '76 4x4 but still haven't. Most kits I've looked at over the years are very expensive and/or require you to use parts from another vehicle, (one used El Camino parts). Anyway, your truck looks great. Short bed 4x4's like ours are getting extremely rare.

wingnut3k- yeah i would like to have the locker but shipping to NE Alabama would be high. What is your price?

Jimmy Vickers- the rear end is a ford 9" i custom made the disk brakes with 95 4x4 dodge ram 1500 rotors, chevy calipers off of a 87 suburban k3500, and i fabed the brackets. i had to cut the drum brackets off.
I can post pics if you wont to see them.

Check out www.broncograveyard.com they sell a rear disc conversion for the 9" Ford thats cheaper then every where else I've found. All you gotta get is calipers and pads from the front of a 79-83 Monte Carlo and they have a couple of choices for hoses, stainless braided or rubber.

I HAD 60$ IN MINE THE ROTORS WERE 60 HAD THE CALIPERS WERE FREE.
