Well ive been out afew times with my clutch kit installed.

Sofar i cant really even say if its working properly. i mean its driving the quad forward and everything but i cant tell if i gained any power to the wheels at all to be honest.

the only thing so far that is noticable is the quad now has a stronger engine breaking in high gear. which would make me assume that its lower geared now.

I notice No change in my engagement RPM's . possibly because the change is not really heavily noticeable ?

I would have to say the wet clutch has got to be working though simply because the ATV is not trying to drive away on me when its idleing.

what sort of things should i be looking for out of this clutch kit.  from what ive read i should have gained bottom end performance vs loosing some high end speed.  not really seeing much bottom end anything really feels the same sofar.

u will not gain any performance nor will you loose any on the big end it just stalls ur wet clutch engagement to a little higher rpm that all

i out one in a 450 foreman and there was absoutly no differnce, my bud has the same bike with differnt tires and our bikes stall the same take off and pull the same, i know it was only 69.00 but it took me 3 hours to install, it is the first hl product that i have been dissappointed(sp?) in if I had it to do over again i would save the money....

my clutch kit seems to be doin pretty good... dont expect it to give you any power though, thats not what it is made for... maybe somthing isnt installed right or somthin... what bike did you put it on? you should be able to tell it takes a little longer before you take off, if installed right the clutch kit will help alot with larger tires. you cant expect alot of difference out of a honda foreman or anything like that, its not gonna make you be able to rip some 28" outlaws in half like a big bore...

they work great, the way they work is about like a drag car, it lets the motor turn up a little before it starts pulling, helps get the tires turning

It raises your engagement a few hundred rpm's (maybe 400 - 600 depending on what springs were installed).  You won't notice a huge stall on take off, but you should notice a better take off when nailing the throttle.  If you got into some really thick mud that strained your motor on take off, it should help out getting your tires spinning.

If you add too much stall and or not enough weight in the primary clutch, you won't notice that much of a difference.  Your motor will rev high, but you won't take off very quick.  No one made a clutch kit for my setup, so I had to experiment.  I've still got a few tweaks to go.

If you install a clutch kit designed for a stock motor, it's not going to perform to it's best if you've added mods (power) to the motor.  The clutching needs to match the motor power / tire size and weight / and desired conditions for the setup.

Did you ever bog down or have trouble getting the tires to spin while in really thick mud before the kit?  If so, it probly won't now.  That's what the kit is designed to do.

ur set up will be differant since urs is set up on a belt drive and these kits or for wet clutches

All Yamaha Automatics have wet clutches as well. The wet clutch drives the Primary clutch for the belt. Thats how it works. Installing a clutch kit for a belt system like this is no different than installing one for a 5-speed geared atv. It does the same thing of raising the clutch engagement rpm.

Is your EFI controller setup properly.  If it's not, you will bog down because your motor doesn't have the power it should.  The problem is probably not your clutch kit unless it's installed incorectly.

The Yamaha belt drive systems have three parts.  The wet clutch, primary clutch, and secondary clutch.  The wet clutch controls your engagement of the primary (which always has belt tension on a Yamaha).  The primary clutch closes on the belt and the roller weights will deteremine how quickly they shift out.  The secondary clutch is closed and opens as you increase rpm.  The secondary clutch spring will also play a part in your shift pattern and also control belt slippage and backshift.  It's pretty basic and unless it's the wrong kit or installed incorrectly, I doubt you will loose performance by installing a kit.
