I want to place my order soon and this is what I have come up with thus far. I know I want a radial tire so that helps narrow down my choices. I know I want to go with 26" tires and 12" wheels. I want to go with the Itp C-series type 7 (black) wheels. I live in Massachusetts and ride in NH and Maine. Lots of trails, rocks, mountains and a few water/mud holes. So the only decision I am stuck on is which tire. The three I am considering are the Mudlite XTR, Terracross XD or the Maxxis Bighorn 2.0.

Any input or suggestions would be great especially from any riders in the New England area that know the kind of places I ride. I forgot to mention snow, lots of snow here and I do plow with my atv as well.

i ride maine and new hampshire, have had 26" xtr's, 12" rim, 27" xtr's 14" rim, 26" terracross, 14" rim. the terracross are a great all around tire, get the 12" rim, not the 14". but the xtr's are better in the mud, if you go through small watery mud holes the terracross are fine, but more then that, you'll have problems. i would consider the mst's, they are a great all around tire, and very tough.

Imo the XTR is the best trail/mud tire out there, but if you don't go through any real mud then you would be fine with the Tcrosses or the 2.0.
