Well last week I posted a thread about reverse rotation. I have 26x10x12 rear tires. I have had a problem with wear on the front side of the lugs. I cant explain it but the front part of lug is not worn as bad as the rear section of the lug.

So I had an idea about reversing the rotation (just) to see if traction would be worse or better.........well after bout 4hrs of trail riding with mud and water, slick muddy trails...I say that the
tire performed better in reverse rotation than in correct rotation. I wonder why the tire wears like this..is it because it is on a fairly light weight atv? Or is it because of a SRA? Any input on this tire guys?

If your tires are wearing funny maybe you habe a slightly bent tie rod or something to that effect.

I know what you are talking about on the wearing. My outlaws do that on the front. I'm not sure why though?

I completely disagree, I've ran mud lights on several bikes and they do not perform better in reverse, but then again that is my own experience and opinion

I do not mind that you disagree! I just feel they performed better and the outter lugs gripped the dirt and sand better than correct rotation.
