My son just started mud racing.
We were thinking about buying a Moose Power Module for the 650 Prairie.
Is it worth the money? Can you tell a major difference in the power using the Moose?
I don't want to throw $100 out the window if it isn't going to do much for the power.
We just put a new set of Mud Bug tires on it. All we need now is to get a little more speed out of it.
Thanks guys.

It is a must for some kind of CDI or module. The Moose module is probably most common on the modules and the dynatek is most common for the CDI's. The modules only give you low end power and the CDI's give you low end, higher rpm's, belt light override, and reverse override. I bought the highlifter module and later bought the Moose CDI. I should've went the CDI route the first time.

agreed get a dynatek or moose cdi.  skip the module the cdi's are only another 40 bucks and you get awhole lot more performance gains.
