I seem to have a miss at the same rev amount ever since I got my bike this summer. I thought it was a jetting issue because it sounded similer to it. I don't have a tachometer but about 1,00rpm or so off idle it makes little sputtering noises. Doesn't matter if I give it a quick little shot or come up in revs really slow, the sputter is in the same place every time regardless of throttle position. The bike works fine otherwise it's just anoying and makes me look bad in front of the Kawi haters. Would this be a CDI problem or maybe something else? I put on a Moose module but it made no change to the miss.
