I would get whichever you thought looked the best and/or was the cheapest.  They are basically tit for tat in performance, with the Backs having an edge in climbing and the laws an edge in paddling.

Laws are cheaper, and I think Backs look better, so... its up to you really.  Not a big difference in the tires.

if i waz u i would go with the laws   id put 28's on it    in my opinion, all the backs do is dig down    if u get stuck all ur gunna do is dig and dig down deeper     everyone i know has laws because they are the best tire 4 a wheeler where i come from   i no an ol' boy that has a can-am 650 and he tryed the backs but he sold them and got 29.5 in laws cuz he said the backs dig to much and the tear up stuff to quick

I would go with Laws.
1. They are the original
2. Better for bottomless holes
3. tear up drivetrain, but not as much
4. Look better IMO

My thing is I dont see how laws can be better in mud than Backs like some claim!... the spacing one the backs are further apart wich allows it to take bigger scoops and clean better not saying I think backs are a far superior tire over laws but just have a little better edge in mud...one thing that is a great feature for the laws is that even a 31 law provides a smooth ride for such an agressive tread...

I can't think of a single scenario where the monkeysides out do a Law, so why get them? They are certainly competitive, don't me wrong, but I don't see where they are better. Go with the original.

I seen the answer to this ques the other day. I seen a bike with 28x10x12 backs on the rear and 28x9.5x12 laws on the front.  not a bad looking combo and tires looked like they were the same height

go with the laws, backs will dig and dig and dig. laws will paddle, the backs are more of a narrow tire vs. your wide flat laws. so imo laws will out perform the backs when it comes to mud and water riding. they wont do a thing in sand though lol but if your like me you dont care about sand.

I went from 29.5" outlaws to 27" backs and Im not goin back, I like everything about the backs bettter, IMO they look better and perform just as good(this is comparing 27" backs to 29.5" outlaws). but the backs are pretty heavy. and the backs dig alot more but i like them alot better.
