thanks

I was glad to get a chance at him.  I have seen him a couple times.  I jumped him 2 weeks ago bird hunting on the other side of the hill that is behind my Eiger in the 1st picture.

nice animal!, too bad about the seat though I rember a few years back the seat on the 200m got punctured with a sharp bone on a moose quarter.
Since 2004 I have hauled out 3 moose with the Vinson.

yeah, it was worth a small hole in the seat for him
I have a vinyl repair kit that I will patch it up with.

hauled my doe with the Vinson this year and the buck with the Eiger
blood doesn't show up as much on the Eiger as it does the yellow Vinson LOL

Very nice buck.  I would give up a hole in the seat for a buck like that.

believe it or not, this is just above average for around here for mature deer
he is the nicest looking deer I have killed but right in the middle of the two I already have on the wall as far as size

don't take that as trying to brag.  I have hunted for 17 years and only have 3 mature bucks.
thanks

thanks guys

yeah, haven't measured him yet but I am guessing 140-155 range
he is over 20" wide but his G2's are less than 9" and his brows, well, they are
pretty short

fortunately, I really don't care about scoring.  I like the way he looks
tastes good too :)
