Work the same way, but are kinda different than a kawi.On a kawi when you pull the primary, you will have to have the clutch puller for the primary. It comes off in one piece instead of the outer sheave just coming loose with the bolt. The spring is in the primary rather than behind it with a cap..Also I couldnt tell from the video and have never messed with a can am, but is the primary bolt left handed? On a kawi it is and I tried to watch closely, looked like it is a right handed bolt on the can am..If so that's another difference.I couldnt tell..

Nice video btw, should help anyone..Very straightforward..

very sweet video. i had to push the secondary on with my feet while my uncle put the bolt on. you man handled that thing!!! heck i used to play offensive line in college and i couldnt do!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!! oh by the way i fried my helix by not getting it on right when we put it back together. i had a hard time getting it to line up right. also mine keep creeping because the belt was too tight but i put it back on just like you did. i think i had a lemon that is why i sold it and got the renegade. also we installed an epi on my brothers and it works great. my old outy just didnt like me. i havent done anything to the gade other then a filter and that was a piece of cake. keep the videos coming. maybe a power commander install?

This is why I love this forum, great work John.  But I am still unclear of what kit to put in my 650 between you, Greenhead and 1CANAM650 giving me info I don't know what to do.  I was leaning toward the red EPI and  800 weights.  Also in your other thread about programers got me a little worried about my setup.  My plugs have a bit of tan on the porcelin but not much.  I still have my stock muffler and it is easy to remove my modded one so I will take some pics of the plugs with both pipes on and se if there is a big difference.

Once again great work!!

Power Commander install vid??? I can do that. I also am getting close to another video that should be "BIG".

Here is a hint. You need "THESE" to go "DEEP"...

great how-to video.  now i want to go remove and seal my CVT covers.

just out of curiosity, has anyone tried any type of treatments to the clutches to prevent belt slipping if it gets wet?  definitely wouldn't want something too tacky, but something that isn't effected by water as much would be interesting.

john i would have to say i like yur style. you give quad riders a good name. i coached high school all star basketball teams for 7 years. i did all in my spare time because i love the game. i never got paid or wanted to get paid. you dont find that this day and age a guy like john putting something out there that could be marketed free to anyone. that kinda thing is not only good for all of us who ride but HEROIC. john is gonna save everyone tons of time and money. thanks again man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
