06 models tended to have a few bugs here and there. Some were lemons, some had no trouble at all. Just be cautious when buying the 06 models. 06-07 year models had a soft rear CVT housing which would warp and leak at the shafts behind the cover. They were updated for 08+ and the 07's were elligible for the update. Other than that, they haven't changed anything until 09 with the 800R. The rest of the 09's are still the same old bikes with new look. They do tend to have water pump trouble if they are ridden in constant mud/water, be sure to get the bike nice and warm to make sure everything is functioning properly before you make a deal.
