I am looking to buy a new bike and I haven't been on here in a while so I was wondering if the 650 H1 is still the best mud bike Arctic Cat sells for a reasonable price or should I look at the 700 H1?

Yeah i'm not a huge fan of the MST's.  But I take it they only snorkeled the intake and not the transmission

I'm sure they snorked the intake and exhaust of the tranny too. I was skeptical of the EFI, but it seems that the electronics have been holding up well on the AC's and most other brands EFI's also. I'm still more comfortable with the simple carb. If I was in higher elevations, I might consider EFI. Pretty much the whole AC line from 500 and up are great mud bikes. New bikes sure are fun, good luck....

I'm pretty sure they did it all. If you can find a pic of the snorkel there's 3 inlets. I heard they used a prowler belt housing to make it easier for them to snorkel.

Yeap i think the 650H1 is the best bang for your buck, has great power and is cheap..lol
the 700 MudPro is fully snorkeled and ready to go and if you want a bike that is allready to go IMOP its the ticket, you could build one your self alittle cheaper but not much and you would have to do ALL the work to get it to the same level as the MudPro is.

Arctic Cat now has the Most GC of a Stock quad and the Highest Snorkels and comes with the largest tires.

Ya when I saw it yesterday I immediately felt bad for the competition.  There isn't a bike coming from anyone else that can touch that bike, I mean 4.0s from the factory!!!!  Plus 28" tires from the factory, AC knows they are bad to the bone if they have the audacity to do that!

Depends how much you want to spend!!???

Mud Pro is sweet! Regular 700 H1 would be cheaper, but has 3.1s in it. You would want to swap in the 4.0s right away! You can probably still find a 650 H1 and get a geat deal with the 09' models coming out. Either way, you will be happy with any of the bigger cats IMO.
