Here is a little video of my 08 brute with a new big gun full exhaust. Much better than stock
Sorry for the sorry filmmanship. I don' think filmmanship is a word but I just used it anyways.
But you get the point.

I didn't ride it much, but it really did seem like it woke it up quite a bit. Seems like the bottom end is much better.

Did ya have to tune it after the biggun or did you just slip a pipe on and take off riding?
I want the biggun for my 08 also.

No, I installed the full system and no tuning. Big gun says you can even install their systems on a carb bike and you don't have to rejet or anything. Definately wouldn't hurt to buy a programmer, which I will soon enough, but I havn't yet.

phreebsd- **** yes it drinks the gas. But I've had jacked up trucks and gas guzzlers all my life so I'm use to the rammin' I get when I start one of my toys.
Gotta pay to play right!!!!

right on, man. I attributed my gas guzzlinbg to my heavy thumb. There's always a roost or wheels in the air when im riding.

Thanks man, and the video really doesn't do it justice. It really sounds good, I've only been around mostly HMF's and they were just to loud for me. It has a real deep rumble.

Thanks
Alex

How well do the Big Gun exhaust handle mud and water ? Do they get louder over time like the HMF's?

Check this out. Was going to buy a Big Gun system yesterday off of e-bay for $329 plus shipping but dicided not to get it because I wanted to hear it first. So I just listend to the clip and sounds realy good. I log on to e-bay look it up and now the buy it now price is $ 423 plus shipping. That is strange. Never seen anybody do that before. If I'm gonna spend that much might as well get a muzzy.

They aren't that bad. My Big Gun without packing, was still not as loud as an HMF. Now it has packing though, my exhaust snorkel was making my ears ring without it.

Sounds good but Muzzy pipes make better HP. Believe me they do.
Any questions call Ray at Fundy performance he just did a comparison with Kujo's BF750. I think John -VFJ also did some comparisons and the banded **** guy Mickey did some dyno runs.
Not trying to say you wasted money but muzzy is the premier exhaust for the Brute. And want others to know so we kick butt on other quads.

Without ever riding a bike with a muzzy I would agree. But it can't be much. Everything I read says it's b/c of the equal length header pipes that the muzzy has. Well this big gun has equal length header pipes. The rear pipe comes out and takes a loop down under some of the carriage then comes way back up and bends into the muffler, thus making it the same length as the front pipe. It really woke my bike up, and for the price I'm happy!!!

But I know what your saying and definately not argueing with you.

You know it's the craziest thing now that you ask. About 3 years ago a Pigeon showed up at my house and has lived in my garage ever since. I had this bike setting in the garage a couple nights and apparently he didn't like it, so he **** on it. I have 3 huge german shephards and he eats in the dog food bowl while they do. He has a band on him and he was a racing pigeon out of Canada, it has a number on it so I called and they said just give him time and he'll head back. That was 3 years ago.  It really is a crazy thing...

Believe me they do? Where is your proof?? Lets see these dyno runs?

The opening on the headers for a big gun exhaust are the size of a muzzy pro exhaust... meaning its bigger than a standard muzzy... The only thing that might even hold the big gun back is that it comes with a standard baffle that will slow air flow but they offer a race core baffle that is straight through for racing applications.

The one that vforcejohn dynoed he said was exactly the same except for 1-2HP right at the top and this was with the standard baffle that comes with the exhaust. Thats not enough to say ones better than the other especially when one can be improved if needed.

I could careless what Ray at fundy has to say when he says a motor makes 280HP and dynos in at 80-90 rwhp. Hes already got his numbers all screwed.

You know what goat push what ever you want. Ray's numbers are consident so stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Same pipe same day.
Muzzy pipes make more hp 3-4 minimum at the rear wheels. VFJ said many times muzzy was the best do you want links?
2 hp is almost 3 right. So Goat fill everyone in on what numbers you believe and then tell someone to buy the pipe you suggest.

Rays numbers are so consistant... with that huge 20HP loss with a big gun.

Again John did dyno the muzzy and the big gun and the muzzy dynoed at 1-2 HP right at the very top better but this was with a standard baffle in the big gun not a race core. Simply installing a race core in the big gun what do you think would happen?

BTW, your lover dynoray hasn't dynoed one with a race core ethier.

In other words... quit trying to shove crap down a mans throat about his new exhaust purchase on both of the threads hes made... He picked a **** good one.

Also, sorry if i don't live off hear say but i've installed and tuned and run all of these pipes on several different kinds of motors so i know how they perform.
