Couple questions,
What is limp mode and what does it do?
How do you reset it?

Now the problem. We were out riding today and the gear indicator on the pod stopped showing the gear the bike is in. It is just blank. I can still put it into every gear and move it, but anything more than a little throttle, it just spits and sputters. I was guessing something happened and it put itself into limp mode? Anyone had this problem before? It is an 07 king quad 450. Up until this happened it was riding just fine with no problems.

I've never heard of limp mode, but when i flipped my KQ it smashed the pod really bad and it said that it was in Neutral even when i was in High, i could get 10mph before it would sputter. Once when i started it in gear it said High, then it said i was in high and ran just fine. I even took the whole speedo/pod off and then it run fine, until i got a new pod.
Maybe try starting it in gear, or taking the pod and disconnecting it, other than that i don't know what to try or what is causing it.
BTW, by looking at your sig. your KQ must be sweet.

I'm rather jealous.
