ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE BELT HOUSING LEAKIN ON THE 700 KQ.  I CANT STOP MINE FROM FILLING UP WITH WATER WHEN ITS SUBMERGED.  I KNO WHERE ITS LEAKIN; ITS NOT CRACKED TRIED SILICONE AND THATS NOT WORKIN.  JUST LEAKING BETWEEN THE INNER AND OUTTER COVERS WHERE THE SEAL IS.  ITS LIKE ITS NOT GETTING TIGHT.  ALSO I HAVE CHANGED THE SEAL TWICE THINKING THAT WAS MY PROBLEM.

ROKNOUT Hey man, I took some Ultra Black & ran a good bead around the gasket, put in on the cover & ran another bead on the inside part, then installed. Be really careful not to wipe it all off while matching up to the bike!  The Ultra Black, even when dry does not get hard enough to spread/cause a gap in the cover. Let it set, then you can get a lil mirror to look under the cover to see if it has a good seal/needs to be touched up. I had a similar issue with my 750, just once!!  Hopefully this helps, if not, maybe try to find another cover! 1 last idea, make sure the cvt plug is getting a really good seal! Later                       Brandon

I HATE the belt cover on the KQ. Mine always leaks a little when Im in clear water, but not in the mud. I put a bead around my gasket and that still isent enough. I think my belt housing is warped. So I just smear silicone all around the cover where the seal is. Looks ugly but Im tired of it. I think Im going to buy another case and seal when I redo my King this week.

Man, I think I have a bigger problem than any body on here!!!  I thought I got it but then realized that its leakin in between the plastic cvt housing and the block!!!  Is this even possible or am I going crazy??  I finally just smeared some marine adhesive around the spot, but I haven't tried it yet b/c gustav ruined my weekend and I had to move the bike inland!!!  Just to be clear its leaking here!!!

The arrow points in between the inner cvt housing and the engine block!!! Leaks from kinda to the left of this bolt to where the housing dips down(farther left)  W   T   F???

I know how to fix it
Buy a black Kingquad, then it won't leak. Why do you think Soiitude is having problems?

Have you tried putting a cap on your outlet pipe and pressureize the inlet then do a soap check?
You should only put 5 pounds of pressure on your pipes and box.
Thats how plumbers find leaks on pvc pipe. It might be cheaper to do that.
Just look for the bubbles.

If you turn it on and spin the belt it will force water out wherever its leaking and makes it very noticable.

ROKNOUT Yeah we went to MudFest this past Saturday. Hurricane Gustav cut our trip short though! We didn't even get to see the Bykeeni contest!  As it turns out, we left for nothing(LUCKILY)  We did have a really good time while there, though! Also, Gustav had the turnout cut waaaaaaaaaaaaay back! We're gonna try to get a bunch together for a big ride sometime this coming weekend! Later                 Brandon
