How do you guys do it??
I have the belt snorkels planned out, its the intake I need help with.

I dont wanna have to run a snork out right in front of me thru the gas tank cover unless I have to.  it looks dumb and seems like it would get in the way.

also there is this perfect hole under the radiator cover thing... how could I run my intake up thru there?

can I see some pics of Kodi/Grizz intake snorks?

I cut out the ring with a saw all and put a stright 2 inch reducer to 1 1/2  rubber boot. I used the plastic pipe that already there.I run the belt exhaust on the right side of bike and the air intake on the left side. I drilled a hole in the air box on the side between the 2 frame rails where the 4 X 4 sticker is. Use a 2 1/4 hole saw to go through the plastic cover and NO bigger than a 2 inch to cut the air box. Watch and don't cut air box hole to far back. It is REALLY tight between frame and back of box.I had to cut my air fliter shorter . Then I put a 2 inch pipe cross ways to hold up the end of filter tight and put a screw in the top of the white platic of the fliter. I have 3 snorkes. The air intake and the belt exhaust  are infront of the little bolt on the side of  the rack . Then the belt intake is a little closer to you in the center. I cut the pips that go up around 16 inches tall. That is about 59 inches from the ground.I might cut them lower later.

thanks, would you happen to have any pics of where you drilled the airbox?

I have my 2 belt snorkels pretty much finished, just gotta figure out the airbox.

I edit my post I hope this helps! I used a threaded p v c pipe that is used under a sink. DON"T use the cheap connectors that come in a kit.I used a 1 1/2 pipe. That is all the room you got. Here is the order I used threated culper- really short pipe-90 degree elbow toward front-  long stright throught front  finder under gear shifter( just inside of pull rope starter)-a rubber clupler between front finder and pull rope- short pipe-90 degree elbow up-stright pipe-90 degree elbow toward front-stright pipe- 90 degree elbow up.I don't know how to put a pitcher on here.

I also used a 2 inch rubber cap to cap off the old air snorkle.I rerouted the rubber hose off the motor(from left side motor  and them  crosses over motor ) that went to the stock snorkel . I put a new stright hose and the stock elbow and drilled a new hole in the air box top.You will have to put screws in the rubber reducer at the belt inkake because the stock platic is tapered and when you tighten up the clamp the rubber will slide off.I think having a rubber conectors are inportant because you can take off the pipes with out cutting them.

finished the dual belt snorks.  will have pics tomorrow afternoon.  used LOTS of silicon.  I did them unlike I have ever seen any done before... with them like they are, I wont be able to re-locate the radiator.  probably wont anyway.

go to my myspace and take a look, it is not 100% complete in these pics but you'll get the idea.  In the airbox is a 1-1/2" rubber flex coupling crammed in the hole cut out with a holesaw and then a 1-1/2" peice of pvc inside it just to seal it to the box.  It is 100% air tight and does not leak.  Once I get my computer back at home I will post up some completed pics.  Looks alot better now that the stacks are painted and I have a support plate on rack.

hope this helps.  When doing the intake be sure to put a piece of flex hose and rubber couplings to allow you to change oil filter (be able to take out peice of hose without cutting pipe).  You will also have to take the shift linkage off and move it to outside of shift arm on tranny, this will allow room for pipe to fit.  After fitting pipe between tranny and shift linkage, you will need to use 2 45's and go up between motor and shifter.  It allow for a clean and functional look.  You will have to do some trimming of plastic to fit around shift linkage, very minor trimming.  Once it is all done, all the piping is hidden and looks great, at least I think so.  I will post up some more pics asap.
