I have an '06 sportsman 700 and just took it in to have the ECM replaced under the recall. It started doing some funky stuff so I took it back. A wire harness was not plugged in good but the tech said the fan ran way too long. They just called today and said after talking with polaris they figured out the radiator is faulty. They said the top half of the radiator is about 25 degrees hotter than the bottom and that it has been known to be a problem with a baffle coming loose and partially blocking flow. Has anyone else heard of this? They said a new radiator is $360 and 3 hours of labor would bring it over $700 to fix. I would buy a radiator and do it myself but it seems like if this is a known issue then it should be repaired under warranty (even though the original ran out already). A radiator is not a moving part and I am very easy on it. I ride dirt roads and trails with no mud and rarely get on it hard. If it is something that has happened enough for polaris to know about it, it seems like there should be a service bulletin about it. What is everyone else's opinion? I can still ride it, it just does not cool as effeciently as it should. I am thinking if I am going to have to replace it I will pull the radiator and take it to a radiator shop and see if they can repair it before buying a new one. I don't guess a radiator would be a part that would be easy to come by used. But if anyone happens to have one they no longer need let me know what you want for it. I'm just frustrated and was wondering if anyone else has heard of this before. Thanks and have a great weekend!!! Ryan
