What do ya'll think about you King Quads?  I am thinking about tradin my vinny in on a 750 and was wonderin about them.  I am going this weekend to test ride one, just curious what ya'll liked on them.  Pro's, con's any troubles and has anyone found a way to stop mud from getting in the fuel tank?  Also, what should I expect to pay for one OTD.  I have a great dealer and I am not worried about getting ripped, just checkin on the prices a little bit before I go.

I have had my kingquad 700 for 2 yrs and have beat it to death and its held up gr8. the batteries can be weak thats the only problem ive had, but i take mine n DEEP mud and water (u can cheak me out n the vids thread under #4s post) no problems with my fuel tank i put the cap on tight and have the vent line extended to my handle bars . i have thought of taking extra steps on the cap but have not as of yet. the vinson is a gr8 bike i would like to have one for trail and light mud but the wallet says no, however u will not be disappointed with the trade.

Unfortanatly this bike spends most of its time pullin broken brutes and popos back to the truck or out of the mud

Thanks, I am thinking bout keeping my vinson for the trails and having the KQ for the mud.

Also, will it be a pretty comfortable bike for a big boy?  6'2" 300lbs

I'm 6'6" kicking 240, & yes it's 1 of the most comfortable, behind the likes of the ACs & BIG PoPos! IMO! I'm very pleased with mine. With these key mods you can run with/outrun a Can-Am 800! EPI yellow spring, 18 gram weights, 2mm shim mod, VDI, & M109R injector!   I'm fixing to get a pipe & filter for my B-Day(22nd this month) When I change my maps with my pipe/filter addition, it should be AWESOME, for a lil old 1-lunger!  I plum near stole mine, got OTD for $7100, well $7650 counting my tires/wheels! I don't think this is unreachable, being that they're not brand new now IMO! Good luck & let us know what you come up with! Later, oh & feel free to give us/me a shout if you need anything else                Brandon

4man0822 you must have a pretty strong bike, I lined up my buddies 750 BF with a dynatech cdi and he blew me away like I was standing still and I have the same mods as you minus the injector, I couldn't even catch him on top end and we both have 27" tires, if the inj. makes that much of a difference I'm asking myself why is my inj. still sitting in the garage and not installed yet

as far as the bike goes I love the ride, I like the fact that I have more ground clearance then the rest of the guys I drive with and the power is half decent, I find it's a good all around bike

Kyle

Hey Kyle, look up the thread 750 to 700 on the Zuki section. My bud that has/owns the 800 I'm referring to, backs up my story, though I have no reason to lie!  Also in referrance to the injector, Engie said it makes as much of a difference as a PC3/pipe combo!  I haven't raced a Brute yet, but will be looking for 1 inparticular at MudFest at Red creek. I'll have my pipe & filter then as well, & will enlighten you on my results! Also as I've already stated, if I lose to 1 of the Big Twins, I'll admit it, as I'm/it's supposed to!   I can't tell you the difference it makes w or w/o the injector, I did it all at once on mine! Full mod_king quad(Andy) had a seriously modded 700, he raced an 800 Can-Am & had his @ss handed to him, so he was thinking the same way as you. Good luck & you deffinately need to install the injector.  Be very careful while pulling the screws in the stock inj, we used an impact driver to remove them. They'll strip VERY easily!  Later          Brandon

07vinson500 Man good choice! Give me a yell when you start the mods, I'll be able to walk you through alot of them. I had to bring my secondary to the dealer to swap my spring out, I've heard of quite a few being Very hard to get out. Neither my bud or I could compress the spring even close to enough to do any good. They only charged me $10 to do it. It's normally a 15-20 minute job, it took my dealer bout 45+ minutes to swap out! He said this was alot harder to change out than any he's seen thus far! Good luck & later        Brandon

Hey guys, got my filter & today when I get up from a nap, I'm gonna tackle changing out my axle. If I feel up to it, gonna see if my pipe(Yoshi) came in, if so, going to Biloxi, if not  gonna wait untill they get it in! I can't wait. Later            Brandon
