I am moving up from a kodiak 450, great quad, not near enough power though. I am either getting a King Quad 700 or Brute Force 750. They will be used, since a new one just costs too much. (Hoping for $5000-5500 range)
I know the Brute has more power, but i was really wondering about the handling and ride of them.

Basically, which one has better handling, and how much better is it?
thanks

KQ on the handling there buddy but the power difference rediculous.

what exactly is bad about the BF's handling? Does it ride poorly,  or feel like u dont have much control or what?

another issue i have heard the BF's have is their reliability. is there any truth to these "rumors"?

they are reliable if you are smart bout what you do with them. the ride is bout the same as the king imo. power diff is huge tho. the main thing as far as handling is you gotta wathc the tie rods and tie rod ends on the brute,or get aftermarket ones cuz the stock ones arent very reliable.

i have both and as far as the handleing goes that is the brute all the way.  the king quad steering is way to loose and it wil jerk the bars out of your hand if you hit a rut or a root on the trail.  that is what i hate the most about the KQ.  but in ride quality the KQ is way better.  its like comparing a cadillac to a go kart.  put like pine said...... the power diiference makes up for any sub par aspect of the brute

sorry i posted than in the wrong thread.

yes the o8's do ride better than the older brutes, but they are also 1.5" lower.  and when you turn the springsall the way up and put a 2" lift on it then your back to the same old stiff ride.  and yes the efi is awesome but it has its issues being that it is the first year.  the KQ has been efi since 05 so they have all the bugs worked out already.

Honda's management reminds me of a bunch of died in the wool conservatives that refuse to change while the rapidly changing world passes them by. RIP Honda.

actually the kq will stay right up with the brute really well from a takeoff for a single cylinder vs a vtwin....seen it. several times. it was a shock. and they were both 08s.
