Mine is great all around,
from the mountains of Colorado to the Sand Dunes, to the deep mud.
Yes the Auto's have low gear.

The 2003 Kodiak 400 did not have low range like the 2000 thru 2002.

It also had no rear disc brake like the 2000 thru 2002.

It was a straight rear axle.

I believe in 2003 they had the sra 400 and the irs 450? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I've got an 03 400 auto and  it has no low gear. I believe the 450's do have low gear. Either way I love mine. It hasn't dissapointed me yet and I've had no need for  low range with 26" 589's.

I have a 03 450. It is a SRA and has low gear. Has led tail lights, fog lights, 27 589's on ITP wheels. Ran 53.6 in the west Va moutians and runs good here in Florida. It sure needs a new owner! I had a back operation and need to get IRS.
