hey guys, i just got a 93 yamaha timberwolf from this kid for 300 bucks! needs minor work like airbox lid,exhuast, tune up. after i do that what yall think i should do to it? am not making it a full blow mudder because thats what my big bear is for btw its 2wd

aw man.. i remember the old timberwolf 2wd i used to have... i wouldnt do much other than just trail ride or hunting with it tho. i found out the hard way that they really do have weak rear ends...

dont go any bigger than 25's and make it a water toy. keep the rearend fluid changed out and you will be good for a while. don't do any engine work, the cams lower the commpression to much and there is no hi comp piston to make it up. you will loose bottom end.

I had a timber wolf as my first quad. I wish I had it back for that reason :P Couldn't keep pace with my friends arctic cat so I traded her for my big bear. i do remember that I switched the stock rear tires for some new ones that resembled Kenda Bear Claws. That and the air filter were the best upgrades I remember doing.

i think am gonna get a cobra,jet kit,uni, and some good rear tires. gonna be my trail bike. they reason am getting a cobra is because i need a muffler anyways.
