Hey, i have a outlander 800 and i wanted to know if its worth getting a pipe, chip and filter for it.  And for the pipe i want to get the HMF, are they super loud or sound like stock wiht the quiet core.

Thanks

Can't use a Grizzly for a comparison. The single with a pipe sounds like a drunk weed wacker.

I don't think the utility really sounds any different that the pentland series, They are actually the same pipe, just the emblem and the pentland comes with the removable torque modifier are the only differences. I have the utility and bought the torque mod seperate. The quiet core helps on the noise quite a bit but it makes it sound pretty crappy IMO.

If you dont do alot of mud/water riding the swamp series is pretty quiet. but if you do alot of mu/water riding , I dont reccomend it. they clog up pretty quick and will rob all of you're power

ya thats true. it was just to show the loudness of it, i couldnt find one on an outlander but it would have a better and deeper sound on the outlander

thanks for the answers, im still debating because im going to order it tomorow. If i get the swamp serie or the Quiet race series am i still gonna feel the difference in power even tho wiht a chip and filter, and is it gonna change the sound at all? and one more question if i get the swamp serie can i change the tip to the utility one instead of having the boring looking flat piece? sorry for all the questions lol.

yes you will still get the power gains with the above pipes you mentioned and i think the tip will interchange with the regular hmf pipes. but not 100% sure.
