Just thought i'de let anyone know that is having problems with their bikes dying and miss firing and not starting back up for a while because they are not firing and then having them start a while later and run just to end up dying again that my bike was doing that just recently.We traced the problem to the wires going to the stator being messed up and when they rattled around in certain locations it would cause the bike to die or run like crap.im getting my stator replaced and the wires and the problem should be over with,thank god for warranties cause my money is low right now

is that the problem... man while i was on the merango ride mine kept doing that.... i just undone the plug, and it ran fine... do u know the part# i need to ask for

i had my Stator replaced back in March , i was riding one day no problems and all of a sudden it just fell on its face. it wouldnt start for nothing. replaced the stator now it runs fine,

i had the wires melt together coming from the stator on my 07 efi 700 had to replace stator wiring harness and regulator

my friend at the dealer didn't really say what year or what bikes he had seen it happen on,just he remembered about a bike like mine with the problems i was having so he helped me take it apart and we checked it and sure enough thats what it was.i'm replacing the wires going to the stator and the stator its self,not sure on a part number

I had that problem on mine and have also seen it on another bike. I think it was a 400, its just how they come out of the housing.

I had this problem on my kodi... but it was the gas vent was completly clogged.
