Jeeps are good, and black is always a safe bet when it comes to color.  We are big time Mopar fans at our place.  The new JKs are supposed to be a big improvement from what I hear.  I am curious though about how well the new six cylinder engine turns those oversized tires.  Can you use high gear anymore?

Here's a picture of our two black Mopars.  The Jeep does great off road, but is pretty slow on road with the six cylinder engine (even with the 4.88 gears in the differentials).

Very nice CJ-5!  I owned a 1981 CJ-5 that I built from the ground up.  Wish I still had it instead of my built TJ.  The CJs had more class, ... maybe thats why they are considered "a classic".

I'm not brave enough to take it above 45ish, lol. It has a bit of a vibration with those tires on it, but it will go almost anywhere with lockers at both ends and 42" Swampers.

Oooohhh That sounds like fun, I'd like for mine to be that way too, just with a stroked small block Mopar or Ford instead of that bowtie thing.
