no complaints from me at all. they have been real helpful since I bought my bike. Sad news though. Louis is no longer with them. ( not dead, just a different job) I hope the new sales manager is as helpful as he was

johnny is the new sales manager... we could not come to terms on the price of shannons new 650 (9200+ otd on an 08 bone stock xt) is a little high imho. however with that said keith will go wayyyyyyyy past the extra mile and shirley has helped me with a warranty issue on a bike that i neither bought from or has a can am warranty by giving me the advice i need to deal with an in house warranty.... great service extremly good work and they have a ton of KNOWLEDGE

agreed keith and shirley are very helpful, i talked to keith yesterday and he said the service will still be the same as far as warrenty issues even though lewis is gone

People have been reccomending me to them to buy my rene from and it's good to see they are good. I was trying to decide between them and Hattiesburg, but now the decision is leaning toward them. The only thing I've heard negative so far is prices on a little high side? Is that true overall?

pretty much kratos, if you go to hattisburg DO NOT LET THEM SELL U A IN HOUSE WARRENTY .... in fact i would stay away from that place... i have had nothing but poor service thus far from them very poor customer service.... they have been thus far pretty good about warrenty stuff ( had jump through a bunh of hoops about a clutch) but i just dont like thier attitude there... go talk to the folks in the service dept b efore you buy... or just make a phone call and ask about how they do warrenty... they lack knowledge about these bikes... they tried to tell me that the reason my bike was creeping in gear and hard to shift was because of the dalton clutch kit not because it was full of trash from having the warped rear air guard on it... this scenrio is something you wil NEVER hear from keith... go to comp. sports work this new dude on price.

AGREED! my wife and I walked around the showroom at hattiesburg for over 20 minutes and NO one offered to help us. I had money in hand to buy a 800 xt. we were on our way home from florida so we drove to jackson and bought one.

Dang. First I hear Baton Rouge is crap. Now Hattiesburg is too!

Man, the dealer list shortens quick when you talk to people. Well I'm gonna have to tell the wife that the only way to get good service on the new rene is to drive 3 hours.

She might like it though if I make a little mini vacation out of it and get a nice hotel.

house of cycles in monroe louisiana is a great dealer also... dealt with them o few times in the service and parts department and NEVER had a problem at all. the mechanic really knows his stuff to...

BTW... my buddy was gonna buy a can am outty 800 from them.. price tag was set at $8,000 plus tax and etc... they ended up dropping a few charges and the price ended up $8117 and some change... great place to deal with. cheapest ive heard on the can am's.

House of Cycles has a great bunch of guys over there. Doesnt hurt that its only 5 minutes from the house.
They have a great service dept and do excellent warranty work. Rome, the head mechanic is a personal freind of mine from high school and has rebuilt a few motors for me over the years. If I'm not mistaken, they were 2nd in the southeastern united states in units sold behind hattiesburg cycles through the 1st half of the year. Only prob was though was that they didnt have an 09 on the floor when I was ready to jump on one. Thats where Competition Sports came in. To me, they have the same excellent and knowledgeable staff. The service dept is top notch and it doesnt hurt when you see the owner and the guys that work for her riding the same setups that we have.
Kratos, from where your at, I'd go with competition sports merely on the shorter drive.
Then again, if you come to west monroe and buy one, I get to help break it in

Even with Lewis being gone, they'll still beat nearly anyone around for warranty issues! May be a lil higher, but more than make up for it in the customer service end IMO! I'm not a customer, YET!! Brandon
