My left inner tie rod won't stay tight. No matter how tight I put it it always backs off and gets loose. I even had the dealer tighten it down last time it was in and it's loose again after 6hrs on it. Any suggestions on how to keep this thing from backing off? It's always the left side. And the inner tie rod is good, I replaced it a while back.

I thought about that but if i need to pull it off for any reason I wondered how much of a pain it would be.. But locktite makes the most sense... Why is that one side so loose all the time though? Any one else having this issue?

mine were doing the same thing. i used red loctite and since mine is a 05 i did the washer trick, but i used a lock washer. seems to have worked well. also make sure you use the thickest cotter pin you fit in there just for a little extra safety.

You could always get ASR tierods. They have heim joint ends and have a lifetime warranty. I ran them for two years on my V-force. I recked the bike before i sold it and completely totaled it. Guess what? The tierods were still fine even though the center of the rims, where it bolts to the hub, was ripped away from the outer lip and bead of the rims

I put some locktite on it and used the Impact to tighten it down. Hopefully it works.

If that doesnt work definetly look at ASR. Their ends use a allenhead bolt with a locknut. Never had mine back off once
