My buddy has an 05 500 S, when bought it, it already had an HMF(Penland) and K&N airfilter, we snorked it and with the snorkle it was running really rough. The pod was vibrating like crazy. Would it need to be re-jetted if we kept the snork on it?? We took it off and put it back to stock for the ride this past weekend.

If adding the snorkle causes poor running, then the only way it can do so is by altering the airflow, thus upsetting the current carburetor settings. I'd say jetting is in order if the snorkle is going back on.
