I am looking to upgrade my stock tires to either 26x9-12 front and 26x11-12 rear  or  26x10-12 front and 26x12-12 rear.  My questions are what kind of clearance am I looking at?  I currently have a HL Lift kit on it.  Will i need spacer for the front and back if i purchase either size or just one for the front?  What kind of decrease in power will i be looking stepping up to 26".  Would I be better off staying with 25"?  Does anyone have 26" on a 450 es?  ANy help would be great i need to order soon!!  Riding trails some mud, use for hunting?  Just want new tires with lug.

I would go with something like a 589 or a Mudlite. I don't think you will need spacers unless you just want them. I think a 26" will be fine, without little if any power decrease.

I don't want to buy a set of 26" and find out need a spacer to clear everything up front.  I dont think the rear would be an issue, do you?  I am looking to get some mud lite XLs.  But just trying find what size would be best.  I would probably lose some top speed tho huh?

Good, Great to know, makes me at ease, nice quad in the pic.  Is the disc brake conversion worth it i see its on your signature.  Any one else got an opinion on the tire matter?

If ya want a good light tire 26" get the 27" zilla's. They run about an inch short. You should not have to do anything to your bike to run these.

I ran 26x12 on all four when i had my foreman 450 s. Cleared them fine with no lift and turned them pretty good. THe tires i  were Titan 589s. So no lift or rub with 26x12s on all 4 corners.

Pirelli Scorpions are a truck tire not atv, the atv tires are Mudweiser and Rut Buster. The Mudlites and Mudweisers are prob about equal the Mudlite XLs are a little better because of deeper tread. And a 450 Foreman will not struggle at all with 26s. My old boss had 27 ACTs on his stepsons stock 450es, they fit and it turned them great.

Here's my take on it. I've got 26" Mudlites on my unlifted, bone stock (no power mods that is) 2000 450 S. I've had no problems with these tires in terms of them rubbing anything or robbing too much power. And they perform quite good in the mud.

So, you'll have no problems with the 26" Mudlites on the Foreman. However, I recently bought 27" Maxxis Zillas for my Suzuki King Quad 450 and they run about the same exact size as the 26" Mudlites and are even slighty lighter. They also have a better tread design for mud and the lugs are about 1/4" or more deeper. IMHO they ride better on all surfaces (mud, trail, etc...). If I were buying another set of tires right now for my stock 450 Foreman, without a doubt it would be a set of 27" Maxxis Zillas.
