OH yea you will be fine all stock with some 27" 589's. They are great tires and were very good to me. I  just wanted more!! I moved up to 28" Laws and Love them too. I had 28x9x12 589's all around and my bike was stock. I was able to turn them fine. Just look out when you buy them. They run about a half inch to a inch short. Other than that, VERY GOOD Tires. Hope this helps. Just go skinny all around and you will have no trouble.

you will be fine on power, I haven't bogged mine yet with 26" vamps and mines all stock. 5th gear gets pretty weak though and takes awhile to push the speedo past ~47mph.

When we say skinnies we are just refering to the narrow tires in your case the 9" wide ones. You should be able to turn them in just about anything but you might want to get a pipe to get some of the power back and do a clutch kit to get them spinning from a stop better.
