Who has installed the new HL springs for the Outlander?  Did you install just the front or front and back?  Pros / Cons?  Pictures would be great.  Thanks in advance,

all four corners. no more sagging that is for sure. they work great. i still have the spacers but i like it with no sag for the pits. you can do away with the pipe lift once you get them. they work on 06,07, and 08s. they are long enough that you dont have use the double method anymore if you put them on the double springs.

Would I still need the HL lift installed to clear the 29.5's?

I put them on my bike on all four corners. On the front i did away with the pipe lift, And on the rear i still have a 1" pipe lift on. Greenhead i tried to put a set of the hl springs on the rear of a 07 shock, but the tabs on the 07 spring adjuster are lower than the 08's. On the front shocks the tabs are all the same on 07 and 08's and they worked fine.

Boxslinger, in your pics, your springs are black. Did you repaint them from the yellow color they come in? Also, how is the ride for trails?

You start jacking with the front struts on the 400 and it will deystroy the ride.  If you plan on mud racing, then stiffen it up.  If not, then leave them alone.  The struts on the 400 and 500 do not like the extra tension!

The highlifter lift springs are a great solution to the sagging stock suspension.  They provide a solid stance and a much better ride than the pipe spacers.  The pipe spacers do away with most of your stock springs ability to cushion the ride.
