Having problems with RZR. I crank my RZR up and im idling about 4000 rpms. Can anyone please tell me what might be the problem. I've already adjusted the throttle cable thinking that might help but it didn't.

mine did it today and i couldnt figure it out and for some reason i reached down and pulled out on the pedal alittle and it was fine. my throttle just got stuck but nothing alittle wd40 cant help

just pull out on it alittle while its running and see cause mine was reving about the same and thats all mine was i know it sounds kinda funny

there are two rzr's over here having the same problem, they both have had to replace the throttle cable. i think the dealer is saying they are not routed in the best way and are getting so hot that it is melting the casing inside.....?

Cable routing wasnt the problem on mine. It was mud in the cable. If you look at where the cable goes into the throttle body was packed with mud. The cover is not sealed. I also had mud in the cable at the pedal end. A good cable luber is worth its weight.

i was with H1 man when this started we checked the throttle cable it had slack in it was not stuck at the at peddle i think it has to be the throttle cable to the little cover over the throttle cable at the engine was clean no mud or sand in it. H1 man what we might can do this weekend is take the throttle cable loose at the engine and if it dont high idle then we will no if it is the cable or not.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I contacted the dealer ship were I bought today and they said to bring it on in saturday and they would fix it. When I get back I'll post the problem and solution for anyone that might be experincing the same problem.
